#23 – Tell Them How They Feel
If you have two children, one older and one younger, we can bet that you can say for your older child that it is the king/queen of self-expression. But, what can you say about the younger child of yours? Does he/she express emotions like his older sibling? Not at all.
Younger kids, ages 2 to 6 are just on their way of understanding complex emotions such as disappointment, fear, anger, and fear. To bring up a happy child, you should teach your child about complex emotions and help it express them when they can’t by telling your child how he/she feels.
