Diabetics are strongly encouraged to eat eggs because of a plethora of health benefits eggs can provide them with. Eating eggs will improve sensitivity to insulin, increases the levels of “good” cholesterol in the blood, reduces inflammation processes in the body, and modifies “bad” cholesterol in the blood.
Another great thing about eggs is that eating them will keep you satiated for a long time. Eating eggs will also improve and protect your eyesight thanks to two antioxidants found in eggs called lutein and zeaxanthin.
